Ratt

[edit]

When did Jeff Pilson play in Ratt?Alterego269 00:10, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jeff didn't play in Ratt. He is currently on tour with Foreigner.

Influences section

[edit]

Should Gene Simmons be listed? Jeff has stated in some interviews that he doesn't like Kiss/Gene Simmons, due to Simmons' commercialization of the metal genre. Paul McCartney should be listed, because Jeff is a Beatles fan and has said in some interviews, he would like to work with McCartney. 75.75.176.243 (talk) 03:23, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Age

[edit]

Jeff Pilson is 50-years-old. He was in my graduating class of 1976, RA Long High school, Longview, Washington, a mill town of about 35,000 people. It's lame of him to lie about his age like he does! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.115.220.25 (talk) 04:15, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Someone keeps altering Jeff's age everytime it gets fixed. It is on his own official myspace page that as of 2008, he's 42. Here's the link: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=207449 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.75.176.243 (talk) 00:55, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Person stated: 22:18, 5 March 2008 216.54.43.114 (Talk) (3,360 bytes) (If he really was only 16 when he started with Dokken, prove it! Cite the source. There's no way he's that young.)

To which I reply: I stated the source, Mr. Pilson's official myspace site, I didn't say I agree with the information provided there. But don't we have to go by the information contained on official websites and/or myspaces? But, yes, I agree with you. I would say his real age is closer to 45, but not as old as Don Dokken who was the oldest in that band. I'd say he was around his early 20's when he joined Dokken. However, that said, you aren't citing your sources for Mr. Pilson's birthdate, you just keep adding the higher age. I still say, whether the info is correct or not is irrelevant. Don't we have to respect what is put up on an artists OFFICIAL websites and/or myspaces? Even if it's incorrect?

I met Jeff in April 2008 at the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Ruidoso, NM. He said he was 50. I know that is just "heresay" but why lie about reaching the half-century mark? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sherrien59 (talkcontribs) 22:35, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Pilson (class of 1976) is featured on the Wikipedia page for notable alumni of R.A. Long High School in Washington state. Why he's choosing to lie about his age on his official myspace is left for anyone to ponder.
