Merge

[edit]

Couldn't this material be added to the PFLAG entry under "Founding"? It's actually just about all there. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 14:57, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I thought there'd be more material, but I'm not seeing a ton of additional information, if you've looked as well, a merge'd be fine. I haven't dug up a whole copy of this, and it might or might no have substantial new info. --j⚛e deckertalk 17:46, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working on that title. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 22:59, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! --j⚛e deckertalk 23:06, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. See the top of this. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 23:47, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts? I think it could all go on the PFLAG entry. Or....? Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 19:44, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge sounds good, then. By the way, may I say just how much I continue to be impressed by your writing/editorial work? Thanks! --j⚛e deckertalk 20:06, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I finally got around to merging these. My secret to editing is a New York Times subscription. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 21:55, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute

[edit]

I created this article because there was more information on her life than just the "Founding" section and the associated footnote in the PFLAG article (i.e., more on her family members' lives, her education, and so on. Plus, I'm absolutely disappointed that there is no public copy of her famous letter to the editor, only that one sentence. This could very well benefit from a reflink to the full letter. Anyway, I find the idea of Manford's whole bio being placed in the PFLAG article to be odd. If she has a life story beyond just the founding of PFLAG, that can be in its own article, not in the one on PFLAG. I oppose a merge. --RayneVanDunem (talk) 22:35, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wait a minute, nevermind about what I just said. Just necro'd an old thread, FML. --RayneVanDunem (talk) 22:37, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
