I have again watched this on youtube, and, yes, I see Segura trotting toward 1st base, but now I notice he glanced back and saw a fielder chasing after him so he picked up the pace a little, and THEN the 1st base coach signalled for Segura to stop at 1st. That fielder had nobody to throw to; presumably, the 1st baseman shifted out of position because of the earlier part of the play, and understandably nobody expected Segura to head toward 1st. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.20 (talk) 18:14, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
