This article desperately needs some references for notability if it isn't to be deleted. At this stage all we have is a corporate staff webpage and a handful of publications. To retain this article, there really needs to be some links to reliable sources to show that this person is actually worthy of an encyclopaedia article. A webpage of the organisation she works for isn't nearly enough.

Moreover, the statements attributed to scientific publications are almost all unsourced. Wikipedia policy is that you can not attribute to source anything that the source does not clearly say. IOW, if the paper doesn't say that she is a "a leader in her field", then the paper can not be used as a source for that statement. All that the existence of the paper allows an editor to say is that she has published on that subject, nothing more.

Self-pubished sources like YouTube are not considered reliable sources, so I have removed that link and the material referenced to it.

At this point, editors of this article need to find some reliable sources that show that this person is worthy of an encylopaedia article. Having been awarded a PhD, published 3 papers and been employed by an organisation doesn't make someone notable, but at this stage this is all the verifiable information we have on this person. What editors should be looking for is some sort unbiased, published material that says explicit that this researcher is important and why they are important. A company webpage talking up the calibre of their staff isn't really reliable, though it certainly can be used as evidence of the claim that they are employed by the company. The writing of a postgrad thesis is likewise not notable.

If this person really is notable, there must be some newspaper articles on award night they have attended or an endorsement of a book they have written or something similar that actually states that they are important. Mark Marathon (talk) 03:49, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
