Maclean's. Vol. 108, no. 25. 19 June 1995. p. 6. is a misquote concerning another Jean Dubé

[edit]

https://archive.macleans.ca/article/1995/06/19/passages Someone used this so called "reference", maybe as a joke, maybe with mischievous intent. First of all, the mention of a Jean Dubé is on page 7, not page 6, then said "Jean Dubé" mentioned in the Maclean article is a police officer interviewed concerning a government experiment in Ottawa in 1995, about using bikes. Here is the official Maclean archived article , scanned : https://archive.macleans.ca/image/spread/19950619/6/2 A short quote from the Maclean article: "But since the beginning of the month, visitors to Ottawa have been able to spy Mounties riding on something a little different - bicycles. Insp. Jean Dubé is in charge of the experiment, in which five Mounties on bikes will patrol federal government buildings". I removed said reference, since it concerns Inspector Jean Dubé from Ottawa in 1995, not the 13yo musician Jean Dubé living then in France, originally from Edmonton, Alberta. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:E0A:208:4130:915D:CC41:EDA4:FFB6 (talk) 16:25, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
