Speedy deletion

[edit]

This article was speedily deleted little while ago by some admin who clearly has not followed WP:BEFORE. The subject is clearly notable as he is a member of the French Academy of Sciences and Google Scholar indicates a high citation number. Salih (talk) 15:04, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Salih. I was checking this page out yesterday to see whether it qualifies for speedy deletion and came to the conclusion that it does not. Later, I was surprised that it was deleted. The notability can be seen by comparing to the French and German site where an entry exist (the page was already linked to those two pages on the time of deletion). Dalibard is one of the members of a group of physicists surrounding Aspect who did groundbreaking experiments for the foundation of quantum mechanics connected with Bell's_theorem in the 80s.
