I'm never happy with the French wiki's sourcing--they seem to get so much from 1911, and much of it isn't verifiable with other sources. However, that said, I'd give this a B because it you've used the available sources to do what's possible with it. I'm sure you'll find more info as you proceed. It's possible he was the acting colonel in the Montmorcey-Luxembourg regiment. Not unusual, as you know, to have two colonels, one ceremonial and one who did the slog work. auntieruth (talk) 16:52, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
