Untitled

[edit]

This filmography should be part of the original Godard entry. A separate entry is a waste of time. In addition, why are only a few of his short films in a separate table. All of his works should be in one timeline and it needs to be broken into more periods after 1974. And the dates are all wrong. The person who has revised his filmography is using a problematic source, dare I guess that it's IMDB.

In January the Wikipedia Godard filmography was a rather embarrasing 'copy and paste' from IMDB and I did my best to not only correct the dates of the films, but also include all of his works (including those for television) for they are just as important as his features... especially after his Dziga Vertov period. Why someone would change this comprehensive filmography with inaccurate information is beyond me. And why that person would also include a right-hand column stating that he directed all of his films.... really. The table format will have to go as well.

I intend to correct this information in the next few days, and I encourage Wikipedia to make sure that if information on Godard is edited, that it is correct information. If there's no way to ensure that some 15-year-old will muck up an entry, then why even bother. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.179.79.185 (talkcontribs)

How about

[edit]

How about we include a sentence or two describing the plot of the films that don't have articles (and ones with articles would still be nice, since some are stubs)? 207.255.127.59 (talk) 21:32, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Communications

[edit]

Per Brody's JLG bio, Communications was not only unfinished, it never began production at all. (It was conceived as an anthology film, and not even one segment got past the writing stage.)

Unless there's another source that says differently, might I suggest that this film need not be listed at all (even as "unfinished")? Msclguru (talk)
