Killy once pressed by a reporter to divulge his secret for staying thin and fit said "you must eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper". Try it.

I read somewhere that Killy is an adaption of the Irish surname Kelly, and that he is of Irish Emigre desent from the time of the Irish 'Wild Geese', a similar background to President McMahon of France. Anyone know anything about this?

It could be true, but don't forget many French names of similar sounding (e.g. "Quilly", "Quillien", "Killien", "Quillen", "Killen", etc...) derive from Breton (the language of Brittany). Killy himself never said anything about Irish ancestors. This in contrast to Mc Mahon whose family tree has been clearly established. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.193.46.224 (talk) 07:06, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
