INFORMATION ABOUT AN IMAGE

[edit]

Hello,

My name is Claudio Caniglia, an expert of Japanese History and Culture, currently editing a book on Jesuit Missions in Japan, and in particular on the figure of the Italian Jesuit Alessandro Valignano and his role in the first encounter between Europe and Japan.

The volume, of 120-150 pages with many illustrations, will be published in Italy and Japan not for commercial purposes, but just for cultural promotion.

In Japan the book will be printed in 1000 copies by Bunkensha, a publishing company based in Nagasaki and distributed for free. In Italy, it will be published by a small publishing company in 800 copies and sold at the symbolic price of 12 Euros.

Considering that the publication is supported in Japan by the municipality of the small city of Minamishimabara and in Italy by the University of Chieti and that the authors are working on a voluntary base, I would like to ask whether it is possible to use image You uploaded in Wikicoomns: Portuguese and Dutch Establishments in Africa. If yes would you please send me instructions on the more appropriate way to acknowledge your institution in the captions?

Many thanks for considering my request.

Best regards.
