I cleaned this article up a bit, mainly correcting spelling and English idiom of the translation, which was awful. I also tried to make the article more consistent- providing translations of all titles and quotes in French, corrected grammar & punctuation to better reflect American usage, (especially those unsplit infinitives, man.. hate 'em..,) etc. Not perfect, but I only could burn a half hour.
I also added a quote I found in the Catholic Eyclopedia entry for Lacordaire, where he states he will die a penitent religious, but an impenitent liberal. That's too cool not to include, methinks. I don't know how to source it though, since it's my first time at this. Great fun, though. Cheers.
