Notability

[edit]

With all of the dubious articles on petty "celebrities" in Wikipedia, it's unfair to question the viability of an article on Jay Diamond, one of the lead talk-show personalities on WABC Radio during the early 1990s. Though I rarely agreed with his politics, I tuned into his show from time to time. He later appeared on WOR Radio as well. I've removed the "notability" flag.Mason.Jones 18:25, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is he back on the removal watchlist? I vote to retain him.Dogru144 22:25, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

First line makes no sense.

[edit]

"Jay Diamond is a left-wing talk radio personality who began his career as a left-of-center talk show host and then initially moved to the right."

Does "initially mov[ing] to the right" chronologically follow "[beginning] his career as a left-of-center talk show host"?

The following makes no sense, either.

[edit]

"He last broadcast was in Boston, and as recently as August 2005 his "Jay Diamond Show" appeared on WRKO. Previously he broadcast for several years in New York City. He was on WABC, WEVD, then WOR, mainly as a right-wing personality [1]; in his last years in New York he moved sharply to the left in his politics. Jay can be heard on 92.3 Free FM WFNY-FM the week of January 30th as guest show host 10pm-12am."

Doesn't make sense since key relevance was removed. Dogru144 (talk) 19:31, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bias removed

[edit]

The article had some personal insults, unfitting for an encyclopedia article. References to his shift from right to left were added after that issue was corrected.Dogru144 (talk) 19:31, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
