Removal of information about Touretzky
[edit]Bioscribe has been adding information that is connecting Cohon with David Touretzky in some fashion. Touretzky is not relevant to a bio about Cohon and Touretzky certainly is not what makes Cohon notable.
Touretzky is a tenured professor, he is free to express nearly any viewpoint he wants as a tenured professor. Just because DST works for the same University doesn't mean the Cohon "supports" DST's viewpoint on any particular issues at all. Nor is the "bomb-making" stuff relevant, because this information is not presented to instruct terrorists, but rather to inform people how terrorists already make bombs. The information that is printed is also available from the U.S. Government directly as well. This information is added in an attempt to defame the character of both Touretzky and Cohon. Removal of New Crusty Nostrils information
[edit]Why was this removed? While the copy of the document at http://www.jhu.edu/~dogee/news/newsletter_2000.pdf appears to have gone, the citation (the 2000 newsletter of the JHU department) is still valid, and the story is, believe it or not, true.
Cohon has been teased by students occasionally for the fact and there's no reason to pretend that it's not true. We all did crazy things in school, and this edit should be reversed. Bugg42 04:59, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
