I'll take a look at this. Harrias talk 14:15, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Prose

[edit]
  • As with Talk:Japanese destroyer Nire (1944)/GA1, could you add "length" after "overall" at the start of Design and description.
  • I'm a bit confused about the fact that: "She was turned over to Allied forces at the time of the surrender of Japan", and then "Kaki was turned over to the United States on 4 July". Was she turned over to the United States from one of the other Allies? Or is it implicit in her being "disarmed and used to repatriate Japanese personnel in 1945–1947" that she was given back to Japan during this time? Whichever way, the article could do with a bit of clarity.
    • I'm not sure what the status was of the surrendered ships that were used to repatriate service members. I do know that they were Japanese administered and manned. Legally speaking, they probably belonged to the Allies as a whole and were then divvied up between them once everybody was back home, but that's just my guess. I've glossed over all that and have reworded both the lede and the main body accordingly. See how well that works.
  • Another slight inconsistency: the infobox says "Turned over to the US Navy, 12 April 1947", while the article says 4 July.

Otherwise, nothing much to complain about here. Harrias talk 14:24, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

With those minor changes, I'm happy that this meets the GA criteria. Harrias talk 16:34, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
