A fact from Janja Kantakouzenos appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 31 March 2012 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Janja Kantakouzenos was executed together with his two brothers, four sons, and twelve grandchildren?
The article states that he was executed with his "whole family". However, the list of those executed is exclusively male and does not mention his wife, nor any sisters, daughters or granddaughters. Unless it is known that his wife was already dead, and that he had no female relatives, the descriptor "whole family" is incorrect. hamiltonstone (talk) 12:21, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
