I'm bringing in my overhaul of this article which essentially is a completely new article, the article as it stood quite frankly being a puff piece. I mean no disrespect for Ms McClain but apart from the website for the party band with whom she's sung of late there's no evident substantiation for designating her an "internationally acclaimed" singer who "has travelled around the world as a professional vocalist and songwriter" (what songs has she written?). Also her association with Hall & Oates seems to be that both that duo and Ms McClain contributed to the 3 Tenors of Soul album: I've noted her contribution to that album but don't feel it makes her a background vocalist for Hall & Oates themselves. I have checked for some substantiation that Ms McClain backed Linda Ronstadt: I'm sure there's grounds for the assertion but I can't find it.--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 00:55, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
