Notice: This article lacks WP:A to establish WP:BIO

[edit]

In my opinion, this article either lacks sufficient Attribution that it satisfies the Notability criteria for Biographies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it is a Copyright violation.

[edit]

Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of notability. Even though the lack of reliable source attribution in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, an article with absolutely no sources (or only external links to unreliable ones) suggests to some editors that multiple reliable sources may not, in fact, exist.

Although I am considering tagging this article for deletion according to the Deletion policy, I do not have time to examine this article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.

Please respond on this Discussion page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation. — Triwbe (talk) 18:17, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to put some lipstick on this pig (like adding {{Cite web}} templates to replace the external links), but some of them were WP:SPAM (links to the LDS bookstore), so I deleted them ... Happy Editing! — 151.200.237.53 (talk · contribs) 23:36, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, this is gonna need more than the subject's own website as the only reference ... that's a primary source, and Wikipedia articles require multiple reliable secondary sources to satisfy the Wikipedia:Notability (people) criteria. — 151.200.237.53 (talk) 03:54, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Still lacks WP:RS coverage

Sorry, but Janet Kay Jensen (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) fails both WP:BIO and WP:BK ... please read Links normally to be avoided and External link spamming ... those links you added are for reviews on the websites for online retailers ... you need reviews from multiple independent Reliable sources so as not to violate Conflict of interest ... anywho, that's why I placed a {{Prod}} on it, and then Some Other Editor added a {{Prod-2}} endorsement. — 151.200.237.53 (talk · contribs) 11:45, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
