Jane Somerville is probably THE most famous female hear surgeon the world has ever known. To say she lacks notability is an insult and a crime against the slowly dying art of general knowledge.
Also, can't Wikipedia agree to have some sort of grace period before they leap in with accusations. I only started the piece 20 minutes ago, it is a work in progress and hopefully will be added to by others who have knowledge of Jane Somerville HUGE contribution medicine. I would suggest a period of 24 hours before the pedants start plastering an article with yellow and orange stickers. It is only politeness surely?
