What about Tescos - she worked with P.Scales for the adverts - sorry don't know much about this...

Lives in North london?

Is that true? - I see her regularly collecting her children from my local school in Twickenham and she appears on the Twickenham page as a "famous resident". 194.221.133.226 (talk) 21:03, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dean Martin?

[edit]

Dean Martin died in 1995, a full 5 years before the album she recorded, and was not likely in very good shape for recording for a time prior to that. Was this a case of an "artificial duet", or is there another singer by this name that Horrocks worked with? 68.146.78.43 (talk) 04:02, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alan Bleasdale Presents Self Catering

[edit]

Jane Horrocks IMDb page states she was in this made for television film. I distinctly remember her being in it with John Gordon Sinclair. It was rather good, if a little macabre at the end. --Nozzer71 (talk) 12:12, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Role in Plum House

[edit]

What about her role in the BBC Radio Four 6: 30 p.m. comedy called "Plum House" - I am sure she was in that, and if that is correct, it could be added to the article. Vorbee (talk) 17:36, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed she was: “the corner-cutting gift shop manager Maureen (Jane Horrocks) intent on making profit from extremely cheap plum-themed merchandise” — https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07fg2q7 (expanded description) --82.40.14.9 (talk) 00:09, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Education ambiguity

[edit]
She trained at Oldham College, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with Imogen Stubbs and Ralph Fiennes…

I suspect this means they were fellow students? In this context, "trained with" can mean "trained under". – AndyFielding (talk) 07:33, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Waxwork photo? Really?

[edit]

When I saw this photo, I thought, "Yikes—that's the most unfortunate photo I've ever seen of any actor." Then I peered at the caption and realized it wasn't she, but a wax replica. What th'…?
This is an actress, and actors are all about publicity. There must be a photo of her that can be used here—has anyone tried? If she realized this was here, I'm guessing she'd provide one in a hurry. – AndyFielding (talk) 07:41, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
