Discussion of notability vs. finding significant sources
[edit]This discussion was copied from User talk: Andrew Davidson:
Andrew, you may want to discuss the notability of Jane Frizzle with User:Andrew Gray, per our discussion @ User talk:Dirtlawyer1#Jane Frizzle. I requested the other Andrew's input regarding the subject's notability before PROD'ing it. My WP:BEFORE search suggested the subject would probably not satisfy the GNG criteria for inclusion, but if you believe otherwise and want to take a crack at finding the additional significant sources required to keep it, I will defer from nominating it for AfD review. Cheers. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 22:30, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

- @Andrew Davidson: Per your suggestion, I have copied the preceding discussion from your user talk page to this article talk page. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 23:06, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
- I disagree with Dirtlawyer1's view. Several experienced editors have worked upon the article and seemed reasonably content with it. Andrew Gray was not one of them and so it's not clear why he was consulted. For my own part, I was born in this part of the country. I was not familiar with the topic but found it covered in several books and so may well expand upon it. But not now as I'm going to bed. Good night. Andrew D. (talk) 23:46, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
