Vital data

[edit]

Her Citation at the ACBL Hall of Fame (archived) does in closing effectively reveal Chip Martel to be her husband, at least in 2012 or 1988! I think my description is fair nevertheless: "short bridge biography, without information about Jan Martel's birth [name, date, or place] or marriages."

Does OEB7-cdrom provide all of our lead sentence data including full birthdate? [If so, I am shocked, but I haven't seen this new reference work.] If we have no source for it, we should delete the date.

The article is in hidden categories Date of birth missing (living people) and Place of birth missing (living people). The text now gives a full birthdate, but see the previous paragraph. The hidden footer template {{Persondata}} gives all of Janet Friedman, 1943-02-26, Washington, DC, USA. [And more, but i just now added Jan Stansby and identified J.F. as birth name.] If we have sources for all we should put all in the article and delete the DoB, PoB missing cats.

My second-paragraph Note is good enough for "Jan Stansby" until we are ready to sort out the lead basics.
