Requiem
[edit]"And that’s the ultimate tragedy of ABC’s decision to pull Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution: U.S. households need to watch this type of show far more than they need to watch Dancing With the Stars. After all, the first season won the studio an Emmy; the series, ratings aside, has changed cafeteria madness on either side of the continent. ... As uncomfortable as it was to watch Oliver willingly bash his head against the wall every Friday, it was also very educational. .... And watching television itself might even kill you ahead of schedule. Perhaps that’s really why ABC might smother Oliver’s Food Revolution in its crib. We just can’t handle its evolutionary truth."

aftermath
[edit]At the end of the show the new LAUSD (LA united school district or some such) super intendant pledges to cut the contract with the sugar added milk providers and bring instead of them a replacement such as low fat milk and soy milk. Did this actually happen? Additionally did any schools change their menu due to this or is everything still the same as it was during the filming of the show? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.180.50.172 (talk) 17:52, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
