Improvements
[edit]I would think to get this article out of the stub category a few things can be done. One major thing that would help the visual apeal would be a picture to look at. Also, more background information and information about more recent things. Also, information about each book he has written. Hr168407 (talk) 03:44, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
I have already made some improvments to this article. I have add a positions section and a section on his teaching experience. I plan to add a picture and much more indepth information to existing sections. Hr168407 (talk) 03:42, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds like a good plan. --MTHarden (talk) 14:54, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
I believe that there are a few things to be done in order to improve this article. First, do some more research. When I look at the page, I don't see much. I see that he is still living, which makes it a little harder, but I know there is more information out there to be used for this page. I feel that the "Positions" section is unnecessary due to the fact that there is nothing really informative besides what his titles were. If anything, make that section into a paragraph and discuss what he did when he held each of those titles. I just think that more information and more time would make this into a pretty good article. Find more information about him as a child and how he became interested in this - walk us through his life, his accomplishments, his contribution, etc... Good luck!! THINGS TO ADD
[edit]Pennebaker has many publication and I would like to add a few more and add http://homepage.psy.utexas.edu/homepage/faculty/pennebaker/Reprints/index.htm for followers to see the full list of publications.
I want to introduce his research team and the http://homepage.psy.utexas.edu/homepage/students/Tausczik/Lab_Group/labgroup2010.html homepage.
Added some info to the introduction from two different cites.
I have already picked out the picture to place in the introduction section. Hr168407 (talk) 16:22, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Suggestion
[edit]Overall, pretty solid article. The only thing I would recommend, if possible, is getting a picture. That info box over to the right looks a bit desolate without a photo. Also under positions where it has like, "2005- Chair of..." I would recommend putting "2005-present" if that's the case. It looks like it goes straight into the actual position and it's a little confusing. Arossomanno (talk) 04:20, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
