Key information missing
[edit]The article fails to mention that he ended his Army career by being dismissed, and of course doesn't say what it was he did to deserve it (which I came here in the hopes of finding out, but no luck here either). It doesn't adequately explain what exactly happened at Little Rock (if he merely relinquished the post to a superior force, why was he presented with a sword by the ladies of Little Rock? see the page on Little Rock Arsenal at FortWiki; which I was also hoping to find out here).
The article by the way is incomplete about his brevets: in addition to the one after the war, he was issued four of them during the war; and the characterization of brevets is a bit odd, see Ganoe passim. 24.136.6.157 (talk) 10:38, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
