Significant impact of schools and teachers on outcomes?
[edit]This statement is misleading. What is significant impact? A major finding of the Colman report is that differences in schools and teachers is associated with only 10% of the variation in student performance. That is vary small in comparison to other factors. So the characterization of "significant impact" is questionable. Some effect--yes. Large effect--no. This is a major finding of the report and misrepresenting that finding to meet some sort of ideological view or wish is not really helpful.Robotczar (talk) 17:07, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
