Regarding the move of this page, James Doolittle (72%), James R. Doolittle (14%), and J. R. Doolittle (13%) are the only iterations of Doolittle's name that constitute over 5% of references to him on newspapers.com in Wisconsin. While this page could be moved to James Doolittle, it seems that neither the senator nor the general qualifies as a primary topic, so the senator's middle initial serves as a legitimate disambiguator.
