[edit]Stub article set up to avoid disambiguation elsewhere.

project templates added. Should be very easy to improve the article's quality, just from the sources referenced. If you could find a few pics (of James Miller himself, and of some of his buildings, you would then have an article at, or very close to, GA status.

- A bit optimistic? Its currently somewhere between stub-class and start-class. Adding pictures will make it a stub/start class article with pictures. Hardly GA class. It might make B class with more text; and I'll work on expanding it from a Glasgow / railway perspective.Pyrotec (talk) 17:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, it's obviously little more than a stub at the moment. However the necessary sources are all there, referenced in the article - all it needs is someone to spend a few hours paraphrasing/summarising/organising them, add a few photos, maybe someone else to do some copyediting, and then it WILL be quite close to GA status. I've been waiting over a year for someone to do this, (I had in mind someone interested in architecture, which is not a subject of interest to me). Thanks for having a go, I appreciate it. I've (belatedly) upgraded this to Start-class, as it's obviously now well beyond a stub; just a little more content is needed for C-class. NSH001 (talk) 18:16, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
Article expansion
[edit]I'm currently working on this article; I've added some text but I still need to make links, citations etc. Hope to do this in the next few days, so please be patient! DavidBBG (talk) 14:35, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
OK, have now made links and slightly changed the structure of the article. I need to check Miller's post-nominals as I think he's also FRIAS and FRIBA. Still more to do incl citations and images. DavidBBG (talk) 09:59, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
I have added some additional images and rearranged the gallery chronologically DavidBBG (talk) 14:13, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
- Excellent! No rush, it's much better for content to be accurate, even if it takes a little more time. Try to use the best sources, namely books published by reputable university presses and peer-reviewed journals. A photo of Miller himself for the infobox would be good, if you can find one (I tried to, some time ago, and failed). --NSH001 (talk) 19:33, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

Should be very easy to expand and improve the article's quality, just from the sources already referenced. If you could find a few pics (of James Miller himself, and of some of his buildings, you would then have an article at, or very close to, GA status. --NSH001 22:26, 8 April 2007 (UTC) |
