Cleanup (August 2007 round)
[edit]I did some major spelling and grammar corrections on this article. It still needs a lot of work, especially when it comes to backing up all the claims made. I did not go through each claim and check them — hence the "noreferences" tag. Highlights:
- I've added the "cleanup" tag to the top, and I've given the article a preliminary cleanup, hopefully fixing the worst of it.
- I've added the "noreferences" tag to the top. In addition I've tagged especially notable claims that are not cited — mostly awards. I also tagged his movie Old Glory because I noticed that it is presented as if it's a career milestone yet doesn't appear on the Internet Movie Database.
- I've removed the line "for his role as the first black man to have his own show on NBC called TENAFLY". Besides it being very silly grammatically, I don't understand "have his own show on NBC". Was he the first black star of a TV fiction series? First black star of an NBC series? Someone needs to look this up and re-add it, or maybe just forget about it.
