Remove from former employer list: W Chump and Sons Ltd
Remove from introduction OR replace with correct information that seems redundant: From 2015 until 2019, he was a director of the production company W. Chump & Sons.
Proof: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/09668527/officers
shows James May is still an active director
I believe there is justified confusion as James May (alongside Hammond, Clarkson and producer Andy Wilman) all used to be directors of now dissolved companies Chump Productions Ltd and Chump Holdings Ltd
The ownership claim in the former employers list unfortunately cannot be proven or disproven as Companies House only shows ownership of those with "significant control", which are those who own between 25% and 50% shares and voting rights.
Apologies if I haven't formatted this correctly, I've never submitted a request before. I hope this helps and sorry for likely taking this too seriously! Mrsguyliner (talk) 23:07, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
- Done
- I moved the WC&S out of the "Former list as per your request, your source seems updated and reliable. As for your concern about the claim 'owner', I wasnt sure, but I have replaced it with the word director for the time being, as it is not wrong to state. Someone with other sources should feel free to change that back if I was wrong for doing so. Signed, I Am Chaos (talk) 19:15, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
