What on earth is Wikipedia doing!!?? I have loaded two images provided by the copyright-holder and tried just about every reasonable tag in the image template, only to be informed of a speedy deletion. What I want to see in the choice of tags available, is ONLY THOSE TAGS THAT DO NOT LEAD TO DELETION. Someone should definitely wake up to this or you will lose a lot of contributors who are deterred by the idiotic bureaucracy they encounter. Paul venter 07:28, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Use the tag that is accurate to the license and use of the image. If that results in it being deleted, then the image is not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not the place for copyrighted or non-fair-use images. If it is tagged for deletion because of an error, clarify the licensing. If you could provide a couple of examples I could look at them to see what is wrong with them. —Centrxtalk • 05:24, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
