Title

[edit]

Since the article about Kerrville references him as a soldier, I named this page "James Kerr (soldier). I can't think of a better qualifier. "Texan", "Kerrville", "historical figure"--they all seem weird.Ckamaeleon 00:18, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Licensing Question

[edit]

So, here's one for you rights/license pros: a HUGE chuck of the text was lifted from [[1]] page. Since it's the text of a historical marker, I would THINK it would be classified as "a work of the federal government" and therefore be public domain. HOWEVER, I'm assuming the dept. of the interior wrote it. Maybe the state or local gov't or even historical societies create historical markers. I don't know for sure. But if that's the case, it means this text needs to be rewritten to remain in wikipedia.Ckamaeleon 00:18, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
