[edit]I am working on this article, and I apologize for my ignorance regarding Wikipedia protocol and requirements. I greatly appreciate the help I have been given in editing this article to make it read more smoothly. This man has made significant contributions to historical literature and is cited a great deal by other academics in the field. He has also made significant contributions to military efforts and for our country as noted by the Bronze Star and other military awards. I do have other sources of information, but could use a bit more time to submit it and also could use any suggestions or guidance in making this article acceptable for Wikipedia. Thank you so much for your consideration.
Your help is much apreciated —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ssnichol1 (talk • contribs) 03:20, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hi - which sources are you working from? Wikipedia requires citations. Best, RayTalk 00:56, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Colonel Cooke was one of my history professors at Ole Miss. Very, very heavy academic. I've added a couple links to this page, one from the Operation/Division Daguet page (where I'd added his book as a reference a year or two ago), and one from the 155th's page. I'm going to add one more from Ole Miss's page. (2307 hrs CDT, 18 Oct 2010).
Death
[edit]While looking up some info about Cooke, I came across a notice of his passing.InfoDataMonger (talk) 13:49, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

Birth
[edit]There would not appear to be a St Mary's hospital in Baltimore Maryland. St. Mary's Hospital (Leonardtown) in Leonardtown, Maryland is likely to be the hospital of Cooke's birth but this needs a check.
