His father's name
[edit]Information on the net appears to be a little hard-to-find, but, for what it's worth, I am pretty confident that Father Goppi's father's name is most probably Giocondo, not Giocando, which, as you can see, is not even a proper noun in Italian. Little or no difference in pronounciation, big one to an Italian eye. I'll be bold and edit it, since it is unsourced anyway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.66.226.222 (talk) 23:32, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
EDIT: Sources (of various reliability) exist, but appear to be split between the two forms. See for example a local writer, John Manke, who is himself "split" on the issue: [1] and [2]. I'll just stick to what I know is giusto. Feel free to think and edit otherwise - you are anyway, aren't you? 151.66.226.222 (talk) 00:33, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Bill of Attainder
[edit]Article 1, Section 10 of the United States Constitution says "No State shall ... pass any Bill of Attainder ...." So how was Groppi attainted? JHobson2 (talk) 14:06, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
