[edit]According to the burial register at St Marys, Great Chart, Kent, Bishop James Goldwell is interred there. No date is evident. There are other Goldwells in the register, including William Goldwell buried 1485. Also included is the burial of Clare Goldwell, 70, wife of Bishop John Goldwell. She was buried 7/7/1608 and was the daughter of John Toke. Notes claim there was no issue of the marriage.

According to the List at the page about that office, he wouldn't have been able to hold the office, as there were no times of vacancy in the 1470s and onward unto 1500 in the list.--78.52.77.67 (talk) 19:25, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
