I expanded this article, but up in Northern Virginia, with a laptop refusing to update in the morning and ancestry.com balky using both internet explorer and firefox in the afternoon, I couldn't verify the information concerning his family, nor his service as Commonwealth attorney as well as judge. I do know, however, that he couldn't legally serve as both prosecutor (Commonwealth attorney) and judge for over a decade. Probably, there's just a typo in the dates for his service as Commonwealth attorney. I'll try to email a heads up to Jones Memorial Library in Lynchburg, for I learned last weekend that it does have lists of sheriffs and since the other two elected officers are clerk and commonwealth attorney, I hope they have them too.Jweaver28 (talk) 16:14, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
