James G. Frierson

Doesn't mention senate..? Was he a state senator or state rep.?

James G. Frierson (died 1883) was a judge and state senator in Arkansas. Judge Charles David Frierson (born December 9, 1877) was his son.[1]
Frierson was from Mississippi and served in the Confederate Army. He served at the 1874 Arkansas Constitutional Convention.[1]
He served temporarily as president of the senate.[2]
