rewrite of page

[edit]

Have just finished the re-write of the James Alcock page. It is now free to be read and appreciated by all English readers. I will state my bias as I had to approach Alcock to get new pictures uploaded. I have attended the Skeptic's Toolbox many years ago, but Alcock did not know me then other than just one of many students attending. In August 2012 I attended again in order to finish this re-write. There may be bias in this article but I can't see it. Please help to eliminate it if you find it. Sgerbic (talk) 01:09, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vagueness of the Robert Jahn section.

[edit]

As it currently stands, the "Robert Jahn" section never once mentions Alcock by name. It's in his article, so I'm assuming the things described in this article involve Alcock, but it doesn't say how. I do not profess to be an expert on the subject, but would anyone object to me tweaking the section to highlight Alcock's involvement? Or someone else, especially someone with knowledge on the subject, could of course do so. Tigercompanion25 (talk) 22:54, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Be bold and go for it.Sgerbic (talk) 01:34, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
With the kind encouragement of Sgerbic, I shall attempt it myself. Wish me luck! Tigercompanion25 (talk) 16:48, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page re-write and update

[edit]

Hello all, I just completed a re-write/clean up and update to this page. I updated his status at York University; some more specifics to his education and career; some notes under skeptical activism; added professional memberships; added some publications; and did some re-organizing of the page.
