Mr Owen.= Most of this text is lifted verbatim from Coppervale's webpage, which presumably explains why it has such a press-release feel and focuses on the publishing company (which is scarcely more than a self publishing imprint) instead of on Owen himself. 130.64.36.199 19:21, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BLP policy

[edit]

As the box up at the top says, information in biographies of living persons must meet high standards of verifiability. I have removed considerable personal information about the subject from the article, including both unreferenced factual statements (where he was born, went to high school, etc.) as well as extensive commentary about his work and his legal issues. Merely citing to court records is not sufficient; the article did not simply report that these court proceedings had taken place, but included considerable commentary about the reasons for the cases, the implications of them, and so forth. This kind of material requires citations to reliable secondary sources. Please do not re-insert any of this information unless it is supported by citations to reliable sources, and only if fact is clearly separated from analysis and commentary. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 21:22, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
