"When scrolling over the ad, it plays ringtones that most users find annoying." kan je vaandag jamba star 2007 2004 voor mgn zeten Subjective nonsense? I'm inclined to agree, but this "fact" neither verifiable nor particularly encyclopedic content. I'm taking it out.

Shouldn't this be "Jamster?" WhisperToMe 02:17, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jamster is just a trademark of Jamba --AiR 21:25, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How come nobody mentions the fact that Jamba star 2007 2004 is a scam-company, and has been disallowed in amongst other countries, Australia? Is this page directly edited by Jambas CEO?

cite? I live in the US now, but as of December `06, Jamster is alive and well in Australia. Achromatic 20:28, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Profit or turnover?

[edit]

"Jamba/Jamster boomed - when VeriSign bought the business it was making $15 million per quarter and 3 quarters later it was making $150 million a quarter - in 2005 the company made close to $600 million in revenue."

On first reading of this I thought they were making $15 million profit a quarter, then $150 million - but as about half of it was sold for $188 million it must be turnover, otherwise the price would be far higher. The meaning of the word "revenue" is not well known to non-accountants in this country - people could easily think it meant profit. Plus if someone used the phrase "they were making" I would have thought they were referring to profit rather than turnover or revenue. 80.3.41.218 15:25, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Logo jamba navi.gif

[edit]

Image:Logo jamba navi.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

History

[edit]

In the 2nd paragraph of the history section, it starts talking about VeriSign without any indication of how it relates to Jamba!. This really needs to be tidied up somehow by whoever wrote this section. --95.112.170.228 (talk) 11:08, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

past tense

[edit]

The entire article is written in the present tense as if this whole thing didn't take place over 10 years ago, wouldn't it be better to change it to the past tense? Mijzelffan (talk) 23:55, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The new Logo is without >>!<<, can someone change the Title/lemma? --84.152.8.52 (talk) 22:24, 24 May 2018 (UTC) :::@84.152.8.52: I also see that both of the pictures are described as "the new logo", even though they are different. - user:Year1888 - 09:34 11 March 2019 (GMT+1)[reply]

Hello, I'm not quite sure how its done, but I'm very positive that the German page to the company should be linked, as its quite weird, that a German brand doesn't have a page/is linked to a German page. And I'd guess this would be appropriate: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesta_Digital — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sydebrix (talkcontribs) 22:09, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
