Yeah, this ought to merge with Office of the Register since we're unlikely to want many more words for either the building or the two institutions it has housed. Question remains, which title should survive? I figure, this is the title that says "Jamaica" and is thus less likely to be seen as ambiguous. Yes, I know a bigger Jamaica exists, in an island all its own, but still.... Jim.henderson (talk) 02:28, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm. Tough call. I figure whichever title we use, one title should be a segment of the other, and the existing NRHP infobox should be prevalent. Kind of like Caleb Smith State Park Preserve, which has the infobox for Wyandanch Club Historic District, or Connetquot River State Park Preserve, which has an infobox for South Side Sportsmen's Club, or something like that. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 21:34, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE: I think I like merging "Office of the Register" into the Jamaica CAL. Office of the Register sounds far more ambiguous. In any case, I just experimented with the merge a few minutes ago. Let me know what you think, and if you don't like it, revert it. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 19:55, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
NOTE: Uh, Jim. Have you noticed we seem to be the only two people discussing this issue? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 01:46, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
