Wallis Simons publishing Holocaust revisionism
[edit]It seems to me a matter of interest when the Editor of the Jewish Chronicle publishes an article condemned by the Director of the Wiener Library and a senior Jewish MP, (both of these are cited) This should not be deleted Neverseek (talk) 20:25, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- Direct quotes both to the article Wallis Simons published and to two twitter accounts critical; of it one by Toby Simpson Director of the Wiener Libary and the other by Alex Sobel MP should not be dismissed as "unsourced." this is not hearsay. Neverseek (talk) 20:44, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- User @Kingoflettuce seems very assiduous about deleting any material - however well sourced- which is critical of Wallis Simons. Neverseek (talk) 21:09, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- The deletions of the additional information about Mr Wallis Simons have been deleted without adequate explanation. it is a matter of fact- supported by alink to an article in his own newspaper which is cited elsewhere in this Wikipedia article - that the paper he edited published the article. It is also a matter of fsct that it was criticised as holocaust revisionism by a number of significant people and insititutions who have their own Wikipedia articles. - Guidance about Twitter as a source says "As a reliable source: Sometimes. A specific tweet may be useful as a self-published, primary source."
- In thids case IU linked to the twitter account of the Director of the Wiener Library and to that of Alex Sobel MP. There is no suggestion that these accounts are not who they say they are. Please could someone have the courtesy to explain why the comments have been deleted. Neverseek (talk) 07:06, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
- If you can't find anything better than twitter-reactions, including this fails WP:PROPORTION. Especially in this manner:[1], that is WAY out of WP:PROPORTION. Given time, better sources may or may not appear. See also WP:BLPSPS. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 08:53, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, Grabergs. I shall not respond further to the troll. KINGofLETTUCE 👑 🥬 14:32, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
- Also, this article doesn't seem the obvious place for this "thing". Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:20, 12 November 2023 (UTC)

»Muslim culture is in the grip of a death cult«
[edit]This quote created a bit of a stir:
- In the UK, the editor of the Jewish Chronicle, Jake Wallis Simons, took a different tack in generalising guilt by writing that “much of Muslim culture is in the grip of a death cult that sacralises bloodshed” before deleting his tweet after a backlash.’
