[edit]
Sam Jain is working with Daniel Sundin - they have offices located in Kiev - Ukraine, Argentina, and India, Sam is currently hiding in Brazil. They run many adware / spyware programs including: www.winfixit.com, www.winantivirus.com - software promoted under www.softwareprofit.com - they also run www.vipfares.com and hundreds of other fraudulant websites. - Posted by 57.76.7.241

This was posted by an anonymous user, but a claim like that will need a some references to fly on Wikipedia, did you find that information on a news site originally? --Fxer 03:29, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fraud

[edit]

Whether or not selling counterfeit software is fraud, he has to be convicted of fraud to be labelled as a fraudster, otherwise it is potentially libel.--Drat (Talk) 04:57, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLP1E concerns

[edit]

This isn't so much a "biography" as it is an article about his case and the fraud he committed. Not sure how else we can title this though. -- œ 02:38, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When your entire public identity revolves around being a first-class asshole, that's what is going to get written about, unfortunately. Jtrainor (talk) 06:33, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Changing page name

[edit]

I think this page should be moved to /wiki/Jain_Shaileshkumar - Sam Jain is just a nickname, and there is another notable Sam Jain, the CEO and Founder of CheapOair (http://fortune.com/2014/11/13/sam-jain-cheapoair-immigrant-entrepreneur/).Draykyle (talk) 22:59, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Names Swapped

[edit]

I'm pretty sure that his last name is Jain, not the first. This is based on his FBI profile (https://www.fbi.gov/wanted/cyber/shaileshkumar-p.-jain), which is also cited in the article, as well as the fact that Jain is a very common Indian last name. Changing the actual name of the article seems like it could have some serious complications, so I'm wondering if I could get anybody else's input on this.
