Separate article

[edit]

It really seems appropriate with separate article for the old S-type, since they really share nothing but their name. I have merged the existing content to the Jaguar S-type (1964) page. There was also links to a 420 page, but in this case, I have redirected to the old S-type page. -- Egil 10:49, 30 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Minor change requested on acceleration: 'can go from 0 to 60 mph in 45.3 s' should read 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 s. This information has been published on numerous automotive review sites.
Did the car width really increase by 10 inches in 2006 ??

Project Codes

[edit]

Compared to the BMW E39 article, this section seems quite lacking. Perhaps a mention of the project codes for this vehicle could be included along with the relavent updates. i.e. it was launched as X200, updated in 2002 as X202, got revised bonnet and rear end styling as X204 and had an emmisions refresh in X206. I'll do it myself if/when I have time.

I have a 2006 Jag. I love it. Can someone tell me how to get a manual without selling one of my children ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tjones54 (talkcontribs) 16:42, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
