Relationship to Mrs. Soffel article

[edit]

I considered the possibility that this article and Mrs. Soffel should just be one article, but on the whole I think not -- there appears to be nontrivial academic work on them because of their folk-hero status. But I'm adding a redirect to here from Kate Soffel. EEng (talk) 00:13, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]
  • This book (already a source in the article) has a bibliography listing numerous contemporary news reports, including NYT articles (beyond those already cited) available online. There's plenty of material here for someone to write a very interesting, quality article. EEng (talk) 12:30, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm in the process of writing an expanded article for this, and you can feel free to look at it if you want to make suggestions before I post. However, I am a bit new to Wikipedia and am not sure how to allow you to look in my sandbox.CasimirCrazyHorse (talk) 19:29, 26 February 2014 (UTC)CasimirCrazyHorse 26 February 2014[reply]
Great to see someone taking this up! The text you transferred from your sandbox didn't have a lead, so I reinserted the lead that was there before. Next step is to clean up the references a bit, which I'm starting to do now.
It takes a bit of getting used to when people start twisting your work all out of shape, so remember to not take it personally -- it's a complement that others think enough of your work to want to build on it.
OK now -- deep breath... EEng (talk) 23:00, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
