Expansion

It will probably not be until around Tuesday or Wednesday of next week that I will be able to write more on this article. I am getting a large amount of material in the mail about this man, most likely Monday evening. His enlistment actually turned into a scandal for the USMC (he was drafted at the age of 16) and this was covered in several major newspapers. The Millionth marine

If marine enlistment numbers started at #20,001 and ran consecutively, the millionth marine would have service number 1,020,000 -- NOT 1,020,001. Everyone But You (talk) 23:48, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
