As Jack was my uncle, I'm famiiar with much of his work, and this biography does him no justice. There are over292,200 hits on the internet as of today. I need some time to put together some of his most impressive work, but here's an example. One of his first projects was to make figurines of FDR. As FDR did not like the public to be aware of his condition resulting from polio, my uncle sculpted a series of large-headed FDRs as the consumate sportsman: fly fishing, playing tennis, etc.
I have many stories about the man and his work. He was a political animal, and created Nixon from A to Z. Unfortunately, I have lost all my possessions in a fire, butmy aunt is still with us, and I can try to get a photograph. He had three children from a previous marriage: Jack Jr., Greg, and Lynn, my very wise cousins that I'd love to hear from. I considered Jack and Julia my surrogate parents, and I would not have had a fulfilling life were it not for them.
I will add to this as much as allowed.Mybeloveduncle (talk) 00:17, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
