Place of death

Most articles announcing the death of Jack Newton don't mention his place of death. At present, the best clue I've found is an article in the Newcastle Herald whose title implies Newton is local to the newspaper's area in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. The article is only available to subscribers. The Newcastle metropolitan area includes Cessnock, Newton's birthplace, so it is quite possible that he died in the city of his birth. The ABC source about his death mentions an event last year in Cessnock, describing it as his home at that time. HiLo48 (talk) 04:14, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
