controversy section
[edit]I removed the section due to use of weasel words in which no specific critic was mentioned. Also I think the section would need to be fleshed out so as to explain exactly what the issue is in more detail. If any one feels the section belongs in the article then please locate at least one sourced criticism is Dr Newman and explain in sufficient detail as the what the criticism is. --Cab88 (talk) 13:46, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Apologies, I don't know how to open a new comment, so am responding to this one.
- Although a fine physician and person, Dr. Newman's accomplishments and, for lack of a better word, status, are hardly of such import to justify a Wikipedia article about him.
- I am a Professor of Medicine in the U of T Faculty of Medicine and could easily name dozens of more accomplished persons in the Department of Medicine alone - none of whom have Wiki pages. Gaussgauss (talk) 21:30, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
