I removed the section due to use of weasel words in which no specific critic was mentioned. Also I think the section would need to be fleshed out so as to explain exactly what the issue is in more detail. Apologies, I don't know how to open a new comment, so am responding to this one.
Although a fine physician and person, Dr. Newman's accomplishments and, for lack of a better word, status, are hardly of such import to justify a Wikipedia article about him.
I am a Professor of Medicine in the U of T Faculty of Medicine and could easily name dozens of more accomplished persons in the Department of Medicine alone - none of whom have Wiki pages. Gaussgauss (talk) 21:30, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
