Another TV appearance.

[edit]

While dial-flipping one night a few years ago, I happened to see an episode of the TV show Rizzoli & Isles (TNT) in which I'm sure that Jack McGee appeared as a bartender. Since he is the relative of a close friend, I watched the next three episodes to see if he had a recurring role, but did not see him again. I realize that this isn't too helpful as I remember nothing about the episode in which he appeared and don't know how entertainment information is researched for WP, only that he appeared. I found the episode listed on the Internet Movie Database (IMDb): "Sailor Man" from 25 July 2011: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1895097/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_23
I believe I've read where IMDb is not considered a reliable source on WP, but it does list quite a few more recent projects than appear here in McGee's article. Is it ever used as source? Is it used as a back-up for more reliable sources? Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 03:11, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Crash won Academy Award's "Best Picture"

[edit]

The film, Crash, was nominated for a number of Academy Awards and won most of them. The one that effects McGree as a cast member is the "Best Picture" win. Perhaps that information should be entered into the Notes column. Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 03:28, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Two items....

[edit]

1. "In 1977, he became a firefighter for the New York City Fire Department in order to pursue his acting career." Why did joining the fire department help him pursue his acting career? Did it help him befriend Steve Buscemi or something? B^) This sounds like a non-sequitur to me.

2. McGee is currently featured in The McCarthys on CBS in the USA, Thursday at 9:30P. Can someone who knows how to add citations and work with tables please add the show to the list? Thank you, 24.47.173.120 (talk) 00:32, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No response to this #1. query, therefore, "Citation needed" tag applied. Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 18:55, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
