Merge from Jack o' Kent
[edit]No reason for that to be a eparate article, as the various Jacks are extremely similar to each other and are often just regional variations. Jack o' Kent, Jack the Robber, etc. are so alike as to be largely indistinguishable, so should all be covered in one good article instead of mentioned in separate stubs. - I think that's an excellent idea! I say we merge away. ~Itzjustdrama ? C 21:58, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
Jack of Kent is a distinct set of late medieval myths, set in the midlands and Welsh borderlands, often featuring the same Jack vs Devil scenario. There is no necessary connection with the other Jack stories other than the name. There is no good reason to merge. Coltonian (talk) 08:55, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
We are having some difficulty determining what to do with {{Jack}}. Most importantly, we are trying to determine whether Jack the Giant Killer and Jack and the Beanstalk should have separate templates.
